Mount Gay has been making rum longer than any other rum distillery in the world and is proud to have 300 years of heritage, mastering our craft since 1703. Our heritage blend, Mount Gay Eclipse, is named after the 1910 total solar eclipse that was visible from Barbados. It’s a blend of rums distilled in traditional copper pot and column stills, then matured for 2 years solely in American whiskey casks. Eclipse is the embodiment of the Mount Gay style with notes of vanilla, almond, ripe banana and dark chocolate.
