Description

The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve is a sweet, tropical twist on The Original Glenlivet speyside style. To create this single malt scotch whisky, The Glenlivet makers finished a portion of the whisky in barrels that previously held Caribbean rum. The result is a well-balanced, exceptionally smooth, and sweet whisky. On the nose, sweet notes of pear and red apple meet a fabulous tropical twist of ripe bananas in syrup. On the palate, rich caramel toffee notes are followed by mandarin orange, vanilla and honeydew melon. This bold, smooth, and tropical expression is citrusy and delicate, resulting in a well balanced and exceptionally smooth finish.
